The Device

The ARRC Elysium™ — what's inside the machine, and what a session actually looks like.

Everything on this site comes back to one bed. This page is the full tour: the six wavelengths and four field technologies inside the Elysium, your session minute by minute, and the safety screening we run before anyone lies down. Supervised by Dr. Andras Iso, MD at South Surrey Glow Hormone & Aesthetics.

What's In The Machine

Six wavelengths. Four field technologies. One 20-minute session.

The Elysium is the flagship of ARRC LED's photobiomodulation line — the top of their range, not an entry-level bed. Here is everything that runs while you rest.

Light

Six clinical wavelengths

Visible green, red, deep red and near-infrared, delivered together. Each band works at a different depth of tissue — from skin at the surface toward muscle below. Six wavelengths is what separates a clinical bed from a single-colour glow.

Intelligence

AI-guided biofield scan

Every program starts with a scan of you, not a preset off a menu. The system draws on 1,800+ evidence-informed sequences to propose your session — and Dr. Iso's team reviews the protocol before it runs.

Field

PEMF

Pulsed electromagnetic fields, layered under the light rather than sold as a separate appointment. PEMF has been used in wellness and recovery settings for years; in the Elysium it runs as part of the same 20 minutes.

Field

TENS microcurrent

Gentle microcurrent stimulation — a technology category most people know from physiotherapy clinics — woven into the session at low intensity. You barely notice it; it's simply part of the stack.

Field

Scalar field

The least-studied layer in the stack, and we'll say so plainly. Scalar ships in ARRC's flagship configuration; we present it as part of the platform, not as a promise. Ask us about it — we'd rather explain than oversell.

Delivery

Pulsed photobiomodulation

The light isn't one constant blast. Sequences vary pulse patterns across the session, which is part of why the Elysium carries a library of protocols instead of a single on-switch.

Whole body, both sides, at once

A panel lights one patch of you from across the room. A mask covers your face. The Elysium's canopy surrounds your entire body for the full session — head to toe, front and back — which is the difference between spot treatment and whole-body photobiomodulation.

Why depth matters

Different wavelengths reach different depths. Visible red works nearest the surface, where skin lives; near-infrared travels further, toward muscle and deeper tissue. Combining six bands means the session isn't limited to one layer of you.

Top of ARRC's line

ARRC LED builds a range of photobiomodulation beds. The Elysium sits at the top of it. We chose the flagship deliberately: if we were going to put a doctor's name on a light therapy program, it wasn't going to run on the base model.

A general illustration of how wavelength affects penetration depth across the light spectrum — not a specification of this device. The Elysium works in the visible red, deep red and near-infrared bands, and emits no UV.

Your Session

Your session, step by step

No mystery, no rush. From the front door to your cadence plan, here is exactly what happens.

Medical intake & suitability screening

Before you lie in anything, we ask questions: health history, medications, skin sensitivity, and what you're hoping light can support. This is the part a salon skips — and the reason this program lives inside a medical clinic. If the Elysium isn't right for you, we say so here.

AI-guided biofield scan

You settle onto the bed and the system runs its biofield scan, drawing on a library of 1,800+ evidence-informed sequences to propose a session built around you — not a preset picked off a wall chart.

Protocol review by Dr. Iso's team

The machine proposes; the clinical team decides. Your protocol is reviewed by Dr. Iso's team against your intake before the session runs — the physician-supervised check that makes this different from pressing start.

The 20-minute session

You wear the eye protection we provide and lie in the open bed. Underwear or light clothing is typical — the more skin the light reaches, the better, and the room is private. It feels warm, bright and, for most people, deeply relaxing. Nothing touches you but light. No needles, no downtime.

Review & cadence recommendation

We walk you through what the scan showed and recommend a cadence — how many sessions, how close together, when to reassess. Pricing is public on our pricing page; there is no back-room package pitch. If something else at Glow would genuinely support your goal — HydraFacial, IV therapy, our aesthetic treatments — we'll mention it once and leave the decision with you.

Safety & Screening

Non-invasive doesn't mean unsupervised.

Red light therapy is one of the gentler things we offer: no needles, no downtime, and it's generally very well tolerated. We screen everyone anyway. That isn't caution theatre — it's the point of running this in a physician-led clinic.

Conditions we screen for

  • Pregnancy — we take a conservative approach and discuss it case by case.
  • Active cancer — light therapy decisions belong with your oncology team, not a booking page.
  • Photosensitizing medications — some antibiotics, retinoids and other prescriptions increase light sensitivity; bring your medication list.
  • Seizure or light-sensitivity history — pulsed light calls for a doctor's judgment first.
  • Other conditions at the doctor's discretion — your intake is reviewed by Dr. Iso's team, not a checkbox.

This list is not exhaustive, and it isn't meant to be — screening decisions rest with the clinical team, case by case. If you're unsure whether the Elysium is suitable for you, call us at (604) 571-6464 and ask before you book. We'd rather answer questions than run a session that shouldn't happen.

An Honest Comparison

The Elysium next to the devices you can buy

Home devices aren't wrong — we tell patients to keep using them between visits. But they're a different class of tool, and you should see the difference laid out plainly before you spend money with anyone, including us.

Coverage Whole body, head to toe — the canopy surrounds you for the full session Face only One body area at a time, one side at a time
